SYDNEY, AustraliaWiseTech Global (ASX:WTC) today announced that Turkish Cargo, the world’s third largest cargo airline[1], has joined the CargoWise Carrier Connectivity Program to enable freight forwarders to efficiently plan, book, confirm and manage shipments with the carrier, in real-time from within CargoWise.

Turkish Cargo is the air cargo brand of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines and offers services to flies to more than 360 destinations across 134 countries with the largest international flight network in the world.

The direct data connection with Turkish Cargo enables CargoWise customers, including all of the 25 largest global freight forwarders worldwide[2], to access the carrier’s schedules, dynamic rates, capacity and allotment bookings as well as the ability to easily change digital bookings, without leaving CargoWise. In addition, Turkish Cargo can reach a wider range of potential customers via  CargoWise’s AirlineConnect functionality that allows freight forwarders to review, compare and select market, contract or spot rate offers from multiple airlines consolidated in one place for each transaction.
