Australian Federation of International Forwarders

The Australian Federation of International Forwarders (AFIF) advocates on behalf of its constituent members in relation to relevant issues concerning the freight forwarding industry. AFIF strives to maintain and expand consultative relationships with international affiliated organisations and counterparts, various government authorities and industry service providers.

Association of Freight Software Suppliers 

Formed in 1993, the Association of Freight Software Suppliers (AFSS) brings together and represents many of the leading suppliers of software to the freight and transportation industry. Major developments over the next few years in EU Customs procedures, and a greater emphasis on security issues will have a big impact on software development. AFSS represents members on the main HMRC Joint Customs Consultative Committee and also plays an active role in various working groups.

Airforwarders Association

The Airforwarders Association (AfA) serves as the voice of the airforwarding industry and plays a vital role in ensuring the continuous movement of commerce worldwide. The association is an alliance of indirect air carriers, cargo airlines and affiliated businesses located throughout the global transportation community. 

British International Freight Association 

The British International Freight Assocation (BIFA) is the prime United Kingdom trade association representing UK freight forwarders. The Association acts as an authoritative voice for the industry at official and government levels. They are responsible for setting industry standards and providing both educational courses and required mandatory training programs which enhance the professional levels of freight forwarders and logistics service providers in the United Kingdom.


BVL International acts as a neutral platform to promote awareness on the importance of logistics and supply chain management in industry, science and the public sphere. They systematically document logistical problem definitions, to develop methods and processes that solve these problems on an interdisciplinary and sector-focused basis.

Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation

The Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation (CBAFF) is a national federation, whose main concern is to promote the interests of its members. It assists member companies and individuals working professionally and participating in customs broking and freight forwarding, and is affiliated with the wider transport industry.


The Confederation of Belgian Freight Forwarders is the national umbrella organisation of freight forwarders, custom agents and logistic service providers in Belgium. As logistic consultants they orchestrate the supply chain and ensure the smooth purchase and delivery of goods by sea, inland waterways, short sea, rail, road or air.

Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association 

The Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) represents 260 regular member firms from large multinational global logistics providers to small and medium sized Canadian companies. As a vital component of Canada's global supply chain, CIFFA member companies facilitate the movement of goods around the world. 


The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is a professional body representing the transport and logistics industries worldwide. It is a membership-based organisation with over 30,000 members in over 30 countries. Members of the Institute are involved in the management and design of infrastructure, systems, processes and information flows, and in the creation, management and continuous improvement of effective organisations. 

Canadian Society of Customs Brokers

The Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) actively seeks and achieves improvements in government policies and procedures on behalf of our members and their clients, and consistently delivers relevant, high quality products and services, including education and professional development. The CSCB creates member value and benefits through education, advocacy, information and innovation.


EurTradeNet is the European Alliance of customs-related service providers. A unique knowledge network, EurTradeNet members join their local expertise in information handling services and communication solutions to assure the most effective implementation of eCustoms Europe-wide.

Freight & Trade Alliance

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) is Australia’s leading representative body for the international supply chain sector bringing together importers, exporters, customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics service providers and industry groups. Together with the Australian Peak Shippers Association, they form an influential advocacy alliance ensuring that our members are at the forefront of emerging supply chain issues through our responsive operational support, professional development training, industry updates, commercial services and corporate events.

International Air Cargo Association of Chicago

The International Air Cargo Association of Chicago (IACAC) is the leading association for companies involved in the ever changing business of handling, screening and transporting air cargo within the United States and around the world. Member companies include airlines, freight forwarders, warehouse operators, truckers, insurance providers and companies whose businesses count a strong and vibrant air cargo industry as key to their success. 

 International Air Transport Association

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 280 airlines or 83 percent of total air traffic. For over 70 years, IATA has developed global commercial standards upon which the air transport industry is built. Their aim is to assist airlines by simplifying processes and increasing passenger convenience while reducing costs and improving efficiency.

Interest Group Air Cargo Switzerland

The Interest Group Air Cargo Switzerland was founded in 2010 to promote the Swiss air cargo industry. Their vision is to develop and support an efficient, modern and unified air cargo community in Switzerland. They connect all interested parties and cooperate with other industry associations whenever it benefits air cargo development.

National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America 

The National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) represents more than 110,000 employees in international trade, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters. Established in 1897 in New York, NCBFAA is the effective national voice of the industry. Through its various committees and representatives, the NCBFFA maintains a close watch over legislative and regulatory issues that affect  members.

Road Freight Association 

The Road Freight Association (RFA) was established in 1975 and represents members ranging from small and medium-sized trucking companies to some of the largest trucking companies in South Africa. The RFA aims to add value to the industry in a sustainable and professional manner, providing a collective voice for the road freight transport industry. 

South African Association of Freight Forwarders 

The South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF) was formed in 1921 and is a national association with members throughout the Republic of South Africa. Their vision is to lead strategic initiatives that deliver successful outcomes through service, information and advocacy. The SAAFF enables members to call on their collective knowledge and skills to determine and recommend practical and effective responses to the many challenges facing the forwarding and customs clearing industry. 

Singapore Logistics Association 

The Singapore Logistics Association champions the causes of the logistics and freight forwarding industry in Singapore. It aims to develop and promote Singapore as a premier regional and international logistics hub, and enhance the country's reputation for reliability, integrity and high standards in logistics practice and management.

The International Air Cargo Association 

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) represents all segments of the air freight supply chain. A not-for-profit association, TIACA supports, informs and connects companies and organisations of all sizes with the aim of developing an efficient, modern, and unified air cargo industry worldwide. They champion every size of business and provide a unifying voice for the industry to raise the profile of air cargo.

United Kingdom Warehousing Association

The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) is Britain’s leading trade organisation for the logistics sector, with over 700 members. Their mission is to protect and advance the interests of members, support business development and promote industry best practice. Full members include warehousing and logistics providers as well as manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers and around 100 Associate members are suppliers of products and services to the logistics industry.
