Now, with AirlineConnect, the airline’s chargeable weight is visible throughout the booking process. When they differ from your own, they’re automatically used in cost calculations. This helps reduce downstream discrepancies and gives you clearer visibility into expected charges. 

This simple update can help avoid invoice disputes, eliminate guesswork and improve financial accuracy across your bookings. 

Freight charges shown your way 

Format flexibility matters when reviewing air freight charges. That’s why freight charges can now be displayed as a total, a per-unit rate, or both. You have the flexibility to view costs in the way that works best for your team, depending on how charges are typically presented or shared. 

This update makes it easier to compare options across carriers, ensure consistency in how costs are communicated, and reduce the need for manual conversions or adjustments downstream. 

Faster decisions with smarter filters 

Filter by service level 

Filter airline offers by Standard, Express or Priority service levels. Each option is color-coded for easier identification, helping operators quickly assess transit speed options at a glance. 

This means less time spent scrolling through options, and more time focused on selecting the best service for your customers. 

See and book from your allotments 

If you have contracted allotments with an airline, those offers are now clearly marked. This makes it easy to prioritise your allocated space, helping ensure you get maximum value from your contracted capacity without needing to leave the booking screen or cross-check with another system. 

It’s a small but powerful change that helps protect revenue and simplify decision-making for operators.

Confident handling of temperature-sensitive freight 

Booking temperature-controlled shipments often requires extra steps and careful validation. AirlineConnect now detects temperature requirements in your cargo and automatically filters for compatible airline options. 

You can enter a temperature range directly in the Cargo Details screen, and the system validates those settings against the airline’s capabilities. This reduces the risk of failed bookings and helps ensure sensitive shipments are routed correctly the first time. 

Smarter flows for direct and consol bookings 

Whether you are booking directly with one airline or reviewing capacity across multiple carriers, AirlineConnect adapts to your workflow. For consol shipments with a saved airline, you will see a streamlined screen designed for quick action. If you want to compare offers across all supported airlines, simply switch to the marketplace view, where you can compare rates and capacity across all integrated airlines.  

This lets you move quickly when needed, without losing access to a wider range of options. 

Built-in accuracy for every booking 

Consolidated packlines and weight distribution 

To streamline messages sent to airlines, identical packlines are now automatically grouped during eBooking. This keeps your booking cleaner without changing the shipment’s structure. 

If weights are missing on individual packlines, AirlineConnect now gives you the option to evenly distribute the total weight across them. These enhancements reduce submission errors and support higher data quality, without requiring more manual steps from your team. 

Amend or cancel bookings in-platform 

Plans change. Now you can make those changes without disrupting your workflow. You can amend or cancel a booking directly within AirlineConnect, and those changes are reflected immediately in your consol and audit trail. 

This keeps everything aligned in your system, so you always have a clear view of booking history and status.
