FAQs
You can add a document by navigating to the Document tab associated with the relevant profile or transaction (such as orders or trips). Use the document icon to access the document table, where you can create a new document by providing a description, effective and expiry dates, document number, and optionally attach it to another form.
Carriers and drivers with expired documents cannot be assigned to orders or trips. The software can also be configured to check for expired documents when assigning any parties and can automatically put carriers or equipment with expired documents on hold.
You can attach a POD in two ways: either in the order screen by right clicking the Imaging button or by using the Scan POD function in the Imaging menu. Both methods open the Scan POD window where you can scan or select the electronic file to attach.
If the Scan button is greyed out, it indicates that your scanner is not recognized by your computer. To resolve this, you need to have your network administrator set up the scanner correctly.
Yes, you can set preferences to receive warnings about expiring documents. This can be done in the Edit>Global Preferences section, where you can adjust settings such as enabling scans for expiring documents at startup and setting a horizon for advance warnings.
